Tony, SHEQ Consultant at TEK Consultancy and Business Support was recognised as the most engaged Member of the year for the second time running, through attending events, social media interaction and a host of other criteria.

Ken, Senior Lecturer at the City of Wolverhampton College received the Membership Recognition Award which recognised that over the previous 12 months Ken has generated the greatest number of member referrals, ensuring the BHSEA Membership continues to grow.

Lisa Ramos and David Garton recieved this Award in recognition of their free participation in the WWT Workplace Transport Event this year which created a real impact. This was also evident in the positive feedback forms that we received. 

Louise of Bevan Brittan and Andy of Coventry based Bespoke Safety were awarded the High Five Award for jointly organising and delivering the Mock Trial Event in Bromsgrove in September this year. The Mock Trial was chosen by Members as the most impactful and effective event this year.

This award is chosen by the BHSEA’s chair to recognise individuals who have made valuable contributions to BHSEA’s success. This year the Award was presented to a team, rather than an individual. The training committee has gone from strength to strength over the past year and it's achievements to date include free training sessions, the Safetyhub membership benefit, a mentoring case study for Holly Winby and the hard work behind the scenes to lay down the foundations for future mentoring of new H&S professionals.

Louise, Legal Director of Bevan Brittan, based in Birmingham was the only member to receive two awards at the ceremony. Louise took home the Chair’s Special Recognition Award for her dedication in raising the profile of BHSEA and her extensive support for members events.

Louise, of Bevan Brittan was also awarded the High Five Award, voted for by members, alongside Andy Lucas from Coventry based Bespoke Safety, for jointly organising and delivering a Mock Trial event in May 2023. The Mock Trial was chosen by members as the most impactful and effective BHSEA event held in the last year.

Andy from Bespoke Safety was awarded the High Five Award, voted for by members, alongside Louise Mansfield, Legal Director of Bevan Brittan, based in Birmingham for jointly organising and delivering a Mock Trial event in May 2023. The Mock Trial was chosen by members as the most impactful and effective BHSEA event held in the last year.

John, Health & Safety Training Adviser for SATS (Site Assessment & Training Services) based in Dudley, received the Construction Special Achievement Award for his significant support and engagement in the past year for the Association’s Construction forums and events.

John, Health, and Safety Manager for The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust received the Membership Recognition Award which recognised that he had, during the last 12 months, generated the greatest number of membership referrals, ensuring that the association continued to grow and attract new members.
